Zingerman's Community of Businesses

Zingerman’s Community of Business (ZCOB) came to the Amster Center requesting help developing material to enhance their own internal diversity and cultural sensitivity training program for staff.

The Amster Center designed and delivered two customized training sessions for Zingerman's staff in the area of cultural sensitivity, followed by a third session in which we consulted Zingerman's leadership as they created their own in-house program. Leon Speakers

Leon Speakers became our valued Corporate Partner in 2014. Initially reaching out to our parent organization, Jewish Family Services (JFS), to make a donation to the agency's annual Bernstein Event, when founder Noah Kaplan became aware of the multitude of opportunities available to Corporate Partners, he quickly decided to join the program.

After collaborating with Leon's Engagement Committee, the Amster Center designed and delivered a three-part series, on stress management, to Leon's entire company.

The Bank of Ann Arbor

Bank of Ann Arbor

We are proud to partner with the Bank of Ann Arbor! The Bank implemented a company-wide Wellness Program and complimented the offering with customized curriculum, via Amster Center training sessions, for all Bank employees.

We delivered training on mindfulness, positive psychology, stress management, caregiving and aging, mindfulness, and understanding anxiety. We're looking forward to sharing news of 2016 programming shortly!

Ann Arbor State Bank

Ann Arbor State Bank enlisted the Amster Center's expertise in 2015 and quickly became an extremely valued partner. We delivered a series of three courses to the Bank's staff by kicking off the programming with Stress Management. This course was so well received that our trainer was brought in to repeat the content for employees that missed the first delivery.

Retirement Income Solutions

Retirement Income Solutions (RIS) has long been a supporter of JFS – it has sponsored the agency’s annual fundraising gala since 2007.

In 2014, RIS and the Herb Amster Center took the relationship to a new level by joining as corporate partners. Working with JFS’ training staff, RIS’ Managing Partner Karen Chapell chose an interesting take on the Center’s training programs; instead of training her own staff, she chose to provide training to her company’s clients.

"JIFFY" Mix: Chelsea Milling Company

Jiffy Mix implements a company-wide 'Discovery Program' annually where they invite dynamic trainers to offer their employees education on varying topics. The Amster Center was invited to present on the topic of Mindfulness. Our Mindfulness training expert brought our "Introduction to Mindfulness" curriculum to all seven of Jiffy's shifts, and was met with extremely positive feedback.
